Writer’s Foundry Review seeks submissions in categories of fiction, poetry, visual art, and comics for our third issue.

For prose submissions, we are looking for no more than 4,000 words, and up to three pieces of flash fiction. For poetry submissions, we are accepting five pages of poetry total. For visual art submissions, please submit up to three pieces, and for comics, up to three pages. If submitting more than one flash fiction piece, poem, visual artwork, or comic, clearly label each work with their given title. We are not accepting previously published work, literary criticism, or translations. Simultaneous submissions are permitted, but if your work is accepted elsewhere, please inform us promptly.

Your submission should include a brief bio of no more than one hundred words — please include your preferred name and pronouns. We prefer Microsoft Word documents with a 12-point font, and prose pieces should be double-spaced. WFR charges a small submission fee. If you are experiencing financial hardships or are unable to pay for any reason, please contact us (hello@writersfoundryreview.org) with the phrase “Fee Waiver 2024,” and we will work to waive your submission fee.

The submission period is March 1st, 2024 to May 1st, 2024. Please submit only once during this period. You can expect a response in two to three months.
